The first level of mountain league in Cross country was held on Shohadaye Khorramabad hill in Khorramabad, Lorestan. The race started in Kio Park on 11:35, May 4, 2014 in 8 laps of approximately 24 kilometers. Iranian top cyclists were on the line, among whom were Abaris’ cyclists. After about an hour and a half the winners were determined.
First, Abaris’ Parviz Mardani, holder of Asian silver medal, finishing in 1:24:14 with 100 points
Second, Giant’s Faraaz Shokri finishing with 1:25:55 with 85 points
Third, Khoozestan’s B cyclists community’s, Shaahin Homay finishing in 1:28:10 with 75 points
In the end Abaris came first in the team standing with the stunning 208 overall while the second and third teams came with 141 and 126.
